The sports hall is open during the following times for public use and clubs, for activities such as badminton and indoor sports and block bookings.

Monday-Wednesday between from 10.00-18.00hrs

Thursday-Friday from 12.00-20.00hrs

The sports hall is also available for hire in the evenings and weekends for competitions and events.

While the centre has been closed, essential repairs and maintenance have been carried out.

The sports hall has been redecorated and the flooring has been lined to accommodate indoor netball training and matches.

A small area of the building, which used to accommodate gym equipment, is being repurposed into a table tennis and multi-sports area – alternative gym facilities are available at Mountbatten, Charter and Pyramids.

Opening hours, available sports sessions and booking are available seven days in advance for pay as you go.

gym sessions

Our gyms are well equipped and spacious to suit everyone’s preferred style of training – we have a great range of cardiovascular and resistance training machines, functional training areas and a great range of free weights and racks for strength training. To keep everyone safe at this time, we’ve introduced gym session bookings to manage the number of customers training at any one time. Booking a gym session is quick and easy with our mobile app and online booking system.
