Class Etiquette

  • Minimum age 14 (16 for kettlebells, BodyPump, Les Mills GRIT).
  • Please allow adequate time to check in for your class. If you are attending classes that require equipment (Body Pump, Spin/Sprint, GRIT) we recommend you arrive 10 minutes early; so the instructor has time to help you set up
  • In order to check in for your class, you will need one of the following: membership card, access dot or wristband.
  • The instructor has the right to deny access to the class; if you have missed the warm up.
  • Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
  • On occasion, classes may be covered or changed last minute to avoid class cancellation. Please be open minded as there may be a slight variation to your usual workout.
  • Please bring water and a towel with you (no glass bottles or cans please).
  • Please tell your instructor before the class starts if you have any injuries, medical problems, or if you are pregnant. Ashtanga Yoga, INSANITY, GRIT, Metafit, and Body Combat are not suitable if you are pregnant.
  • Please ensure large bags and coats are left in lockers.

Booking a class

  • Classes are bookable up to seven days in advance on the app, online, and in centre.
  • If a booking is made that overlaps with an existing booking, the original booking will be released.
  • Please allow adequate time to check in for your class – you will need either your membership card, access dot, or access control wristband.
  • Non-members can book up to 7 days in advance and must pay at the time of booking.

Alert List

  • If you book classes online or using the app we have a new feature. If a class is full you can request an email notification when a space becomes free.
  • Upon receiving the email if you still wish to attend the class, click on the link and it will automatically book you a space. Please note it’s a first come first serve basis.
  • If you no longer wish to attend the class please remove yourself from the alert list.

Cancelling a class

  • Via the BH Live Active app using the ‘Manage Bookings’ tile.
  • Online
  • In-person at customer services.

Members

  • If you have booked a class you are unable to attend, you must cancel at least two hours before the class is due to start.
  • If the class starts before 9am you are required to give one hour's notice.

Non-Member

  • If you can no longer attend the class; we can transfer your booking to an alternative day. However; we ask you to give 24 hours' notice where possible.
