Pole Walking

In partnership with Nordic Walking UK, Portsmouth City Council and Sport England, BH Live are running Pole Walking sessions for all.

Pole Walking is a low impact exercise and activates 90% of the body’s muscles. It tones upper arms, shoulders, back and also develops core stability and strength. Limited poles available – please bring own equipment where possible.

Pole Walking Rehab

These sessions are specifically designed for those who have long term health conditions such as cancer, Parkinson’s disease, fibromyalgia, joint pain and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). Limited spaces available – booking mandatory.

Pole Walking Community sessions

Come and exercise in the great outdoors and join us for a walk and talk along Southsea seafront. These sessions are designed for beginners and for those who are regular pole walkers. Everyone is welcome to come and join us. The walk will begin at Canoe Lake café and walk to Eastney Swimming Pool and back.
