We continue work alongside UK Active to monitor and follow government guidelines.
Industry-approved COVID-19 response procedures remain in place help keep everyone safe.
Cleaning and staff training
Our aim is to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene across all of our centres. Colleagues in centre are responsible for cleaning and sanitising and there are robust schedules in place.
We’ve carried our risk assessments for all activities, which are regularly reviewed, and our teams have been trained on hygiene, protection and safety measures.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) is also available for team members as needed/required.
We need your help too
If you are feeling unwell, or have symptoms of COVID-19 please do not come into centre and let us know. Please cancel any booked activities via the app or send us a message via our website.
We have allowed a few minutes between activity sessions to allow us to clean and ask that you support us by arriving/leaving sessions on time.
Sanitisation stations containing antiviral spray, hand gel and paper, are readily available in public areas, gyms and studios – please dispose of litter in the bins provided.
We encourage everyone to wipe down and clean equipment before and after use. We also still promote regular hand washing and ask that you please respect other people’s personal space.
All activities must be booked in advance. This helps us to manage session capacity and avoids activities becoming oversubscribed or too crowded.
Activities, availability and booking details are available on the BH Live Active mobile app and online.
Bookings are available up to 7 days in advance.
Please arrive on time for your session. Register your attendance and please be patient if you need to queue for a kiosk to collect your class ticket or tap into the gym.
If you have booked an activity and cannot attend, please cancel your place via the BH Live Active app so the space can be booked by someone else.
If you have any questions about booking an activity, please ask in centre.
Getting in Touch
If you have a question please ask us, where possible, in centre.
You may also find the answers you need in our help centre.
If you do send us a message via the website or social media, please bear with us as we will respond to everyone – but it may take us a little longer than usual.
Our telephones, social media pages and emails are answered by the team in centre. If there is a delay in answering your call or responding, it may be because we are assisting someone in centre or delivering face to face services.
Please bear with us and if you are having difficulty getting through, request a call back and we’ll come back to you as soon as we can.
We need your support
As we are a social enterprise (charitable trust), we rely on your support and custom to help us provide great value facilities and activities for everyone in our community.
Please share your positive feedback with us and others and if you are unhappy about any aspect of our service, please let us know in centre and give us a chance to address any concerns. If something still isn’t quite right, or needs further attention, we’ll do our very best to get it sorted for you.
Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to welcoming you.
