We’ve achieved Investors In People Silver Standard

We have been awarded the Investors in People Silver standard.  This recognises our commitment to realising the potential of our people.

Established in 2010, and with more than 1,200 employees, we are at the heart of the UK’s growing social economy. We manage more than 40 event venues, leisure centres, attractions, cafés and bars in partnership with local authorities and leisure trusts across Bournemouth, Poole, Portsmouth, London and the Home Counties.

Our focus is to get more people more active, attract bigger entertainment audiences to a diverse range of cultural and artistic events, and to support the local economy by generating economic benefit from major conference, exhibitions and events.

In 2015, we hosted more than 400 shows, sold over half a million cultural, sporting and entertainment tickets, clocked up 2.2 million leisure centre visits and welcomed 93,000 conference and exhibition delegates. This generated £35 million and contributed an estimated £48.5 million to the local economy.

Investors in People is the UK’s leading accreditation for business improvement through people management, and provides a wealth of resources for businesses to innovate, improve and grow, with a focus on good people making great business.

To date, of the 14,154 Investors in People accredited organisations, only 13% have achieved the Silver standard and above.
